Camping in the Park

This past weekend we went camping in Glacier Park with the Peschels. It's hard to believe but this was our fourth year! The weather was pretty good but cold at night. There was bike riding, time at Lake MacDonald, a kid friendly hike and of course lots of eating. I'll post pictures from the hike in another post.

Fun in the Sun

On Sunday we had a friends barbecue at the Larkin's house. Lots of kids and lots of fun playing in the sun! Everyone really enjoyed the "Scurvy Dog" boat/pool.

Cowboy Will

Doug took the boys to watch bull riding last Friday. They had so much fun! They remembered most of the bulls' names and were happy to act out just about every ride. Here's Will in his friend's cowboy hat...it looks good on him!

Swim!

The boys just completed two week of daily swim lessons and Annemarie took four individual lessons. I'm happy to report everyone did great and enjoyed being in the pool working on their skills.

A Summer Fort

There's nothing better than finding an activity that keeps all the kids busy and entertained. Will started with a fort that fit 2. Then he remade it so everyone could fit. They played for a good 20 minutes before they got tired of it.

Fancy Fingers

Annemarie has FINALLY let me paint her nails. Just a light pink and I used the fastest drying nail polish I could find. She was pretty good at letting her nails dry and was thrilled with the end result. I've been trying to paint her nails for over a year now and she has always said "no". Don't they look pretty?

Fourth of July Weekend

Will, Jack and Doug's new favorite pastime...throwing the football. The boys are getting pretty good at it.

Taking time to relax. Nobody does it better than Jack. We had a warm and sunny holiday weekend. Lots of time to relax and enjoy the sun. Doug and I enjoyed dinner and fireworks at the Peschels' on the 4th and the kids stayed home with their favorite babysitter.

New Bikes for the Boys!

Will was in desperate need of a new bike this summer. The seat on his old bike was set as high as it could go and still it was not high enough. This time around we decided to purchase used bikes and the boys are thrilled with what what they got. Not paying full price for something is a huge perk too!

Jack's bike is blue with flames. It's a BMX style with a hand break (we bought it at Glacier Cyclery here in town).

I found Will's bike on craigslist. It is a black and red 7-speed mountain bike with hand breaks! Needless to say everyone is pretty happy.
